I love to see the status quo shaken and a fresh vision and mission come pouring out. The deep is in the middle of an interesting shake up (merging with another church community) and a few of us had the opportunity to attend a day conference with Alan Hirsch, and he is all about shaking things up. There is much going on and much to do, which is far more fun than just a lot to talk about or wish about. That our actions would be full of humility and mission.

I got to hang with a guy in vegas that works with Alan. Ironically, I missed Alan in town talking to church planters. I'm diving back into The Forgotten Ways.
