Just wanted to throw out a snippet from "Fearless Faith" by John Fischer, my heart stands challenged. "It's not always easy to be a Christian these days. We live in a culture that frequently challenges the very foundations of our faith. Our natural response is to flee from the criticisms and the negative influences that surround us, creating our own safe Christian environment in an unsafe world. But that's not what Jesus intended for us. We are not called to form a Christian subculture to protect ourselves from being offended or challenged, but to fearlessly engage our culture at every level with the hope and promise of the gospel."
